@2FLUFFYsheep This was the first Final Fantasy title that I played and it definitely has the saddest ending.  I mean Rynoa was in a coma for awhile, and Aeris dies, but Yuna "sends" Tidus. Yuna and Tidus are both protagonists that the player can relate to and it seems they won't be together.

yeah it's weird but in the japanese version, it's spelled out (romanized) as "chi-dasu" or "chee-dahss." So unfortunately, it's the same in English.

I mean, Rikku's name isn't pronounced "rye-ku" after all, haha.

they should make the Tie-dus as Tidus' English name and Teedus his Japanese name

That may be true, but the only track that people remember is the theme "To Zanarkand," maybe "Otherworld" as well.
