@rmx01indiana, thanks. then, it was a good thing the scenes with Skull Cowboy were deleted from the film. however, i think that the scene where Funboy slashes Eric and then Eric overpowers him before getting information from him and a brief scene where Skank is attacked after Eric drives off in the car with another villain should have remained in the movie.

@AncientHistoryBuff I would say the story goes you are granted your "resurrection" only to avenge those who killed you. Thats it. I can only assume thats why The Skull Cowboy says in his other scene, "the problems of the living are not your concern." The Skull Cowboy made the problems of the living his concern at one time and was damned for eternity I guess. From the dialogue of the scene and what the comic books say, thats as best of summary I can come come up with.

@rmx01indiana, my question is why would he have been a lost soul if he saved another while on his quest to avenge his own death? Isn't that the righ thing to do? to help others while on a quest of your own? (That's one thing I like about The Crow: that Eric not only doesn't kill innocent people, but along with avenging Shelley's deathand his, he also helps out Sarah's mother).

@AncientHistoryBuff The Skull Cowboy was trying to get Eric to stop because Eric had done avenged his death. Which is what he was brought back to do. The Skull Cowboy said "the problems of the living are not your concern" cuz the Skull Cowboy evidently avenged his own death at one time but instead of going back to the realm of the dead he went & saved another. Which is probably why he is a lost soul. I have the 2-disc set of The Crow & all the comic books, this is the only sense I can make of it

@dippydog The Skull Cowboy is an integral part of the The Crow comic book series. He would have only had 2 scenes I believe so I dont think it would have been much of a distraction. The Skull Cowboy is a lost soul who delivers The Crow to those who have been brought back to avenge their death. There were several different avengers in The Crow series

@dippydog, you're probably right. i mean, one thing i really love about this excellent move is that Eric helps those in need and doesn't kill anyone except for those directly and indirectly involved in his and Shelley's murder.
