Demi: Fine... fine... * She walks a few steps backwards, then goes out the door*
Selena: I think that was a little harsh, mom.
Diana: *Sighs* Sweetie, you two aren't understanding the problem here! It's for the family.
Selena: No, mom. It's YOU who doesn't understand. Do you realize that Demi will never be able to find the TRUE love of her life? All because of this STUPID marriage you're planning with a guy who she thinks of as a BROTHER.
Diana: *Opens mouth to speak but Selena cuts her off*
Selena: You're lucky this is Demi's marriage we're talking about. Or else, if it were me, I would've already moved out. *Scoffs and walks outside to find Demi. She sees her walking up ahead on the sidewalk. She runs up to her* Hey.
Demi: *Turns her face to look at her, her eyes looking watery, like shes just about to bawl* H-hi.
Selena: Aww, my baby! Don't cry. It's gonna be okay. *She hugs her. They're walking and side-hugging each other at the same time* Everything's gonna be alright.
Demi: *Her tears start falling out* How can she expect me to get married at 17?! And even if I AM getting married at 17, I don't love Kevin! Not the way a wife SHOULD! He's a brother to me. Brother and sister can't get married! WE don't love each other the way a husband and wife should! And and what if he DOES start loving me?! I won't be able to reciprocate! Do you realize this can ruin both of our lives?! How... how... she didn't even think this over the proper way! And.. and she thinks she can get me married without my consent?! I... I... Selena... I just can't do this, Selena. *She was yelling, but softly*
Selena: Don't cry, honey! Your'e the best sister and daughter anyone can ever have, and I'm sure you'll be the most wonderful wife ever! *Manages a crooked smile*
Demi: No. I can't. Sele- Selena you don't understand!
Selena: Alright, let's get home first.
Demi: No. *Jerks away* I want to stay away for a while. *Sniff*
Selena: Alright. Let's go to Miley's. Her house is two down. [They live on the same street]

When they get there.

Miley: *Answers the door and sees Demis puffy/red eyes/nose and Selenas worried face* Oh my gosh! What happened?!
Selena: Can we come in?
Miley: Yeah! Yeah, of course! Come in!
Demi: *Silently comes in, trying not to cry*
Miley: Lets go upstairs. Vanessa's watching TV, so we won't get any quiet. *The three go upstairs*
Selena: *Tells her everything* But, you can't tell anyone, alright?
Miley: *Silently nods and looks at Demi, feeling sad for her* Oh my goodness, Demi, I'm so...*cant find the right word, so hugs her* It's okay! Babe, you don't need to worry at all. And Kevin is HOT, so it ain't all bad, hon. And think about it, at least it's not Joe. *Shudders*
Selena: Actually, I'm not even 50% sure if its Kevin or not. I just know it's either Joe or Kevin. Cuz Nick would be too young.
Miley: Well, WE know it's not Joe, no matter what. Hell no. Your mom MUST'VE thought THAT over for sure. If she doesn't see her daughters hatred for that guy, then it means she doesn't pay enough attention to you guys.
Demi: HELLO?! CAN WE FORGET THAT RIGHT NOW?!
Miley/Selena: Sorry...
