The Girl Next Door: Chapter 8 Part 2

In math class.

Kat: (throws a paperball at Nick which hits him in the head) Do you get this?
Nick: (scribbles something then throws it back across the room) No. I can't concentrate.
Kat: (waits a while then throws the note back) You look cute when your frustrated.
Nick: (blushes when he reads the note)
Teacher: Mr.Jonas! I do not tolerate passing notes in my lesson.
Nick: (slumps down in his chair and blushes) Sorry.
Kat: (laughs quietly across the room.)
Teacher: Maybe if you weren't too busy flirting with Miss.Johnson then you would have your work complete.
Kat: (now it's her turn to turn red)

In music class.

Teacher: Today class we will be discussing lyrics.
(Joe walks in out of breath)
Joe: Sorry I'm late! I had no idea where the music rooms were.
Teacher: I'll let it slide this time.
(Joe sits down next to Charlotte while still catching his breath)
Joe: Why didn't you tell me you had Music?
Charlotte: I thought it'd be funner this way.
Joe: Thanks.
Teacher: Joe! Late and now your talking. Why don't you explain your method for writing lyrics.
Joe: Sure. (walks to the front of the class) When I write lyrics I like to write about a personal experiance. The words always flow better when it's coming from the heart.

(Joe carried on like this for the rest of the lesson. All the girls loved his charm and all the boys hated his charm. Even the teacher seemed to be falling for him. Charlotte couldn't believe he had been right infront of her this whole time.)

The gang are eating dinner after a few more classes.

Kat: So...how's your day been?
Joe: Awesome! The teachers love me!
Nick: Wait! Back up. Did Joe Jonas just say that teachers love him?
Charlotte: That's what I heard.
Joe: It's true. It's all in my charm.
Charlotte: How about you Nick?
Nick: I've had a great day except for KAT getting me in trouble in Maths.
Kat: Hey! You didn't hide the note very well.

(They keep eating and chatting about some of there fave lessons when suddenly 3 girls walk in)

Tammy and Kristie are twins. They both had long blonde hair in hippy braids. Jodie the girl behind them has curly brunette hair. They are all tall with their skirts rolled up showing off their legs and have perfectly glossed lips.

Joe: Woah! Who are they?
Charlotte: That's Tammy and Kristie. They are models. Must be back from Paris.
Joe: MODELS!
Charlotte: Yes Joe. Models. I'm not sure who the other girl is though.
Kat: She's called Jodie. She was in my Buisness Studies class. She's actually really nice so I have no idea why she's hanging round with those two.
Nick: I'm guessing you don't get along.
Charlotte: That's an understatement.
Joe: MODELS!
Kat: Joe chill!
Nick: He's such an embarrassment.
Charlotte: When we were younger we all used to hang out. But when me and Kat got jelly sandles before them we never spoke again.
Kat: The dreaded jelly sandles!
Nick: What exactly are "jelly sandles"?
Kat: That's not important. I can't believe Jodie is hanging with those guys.
Charlotte: Why don't you call her over?

(Charlotte turns back to the girls and see's Joe flirting with Kristie)

Charlotte: What is he doing?
Nick: Looks like he's working the Jonas magic.
Kat: Nick, please, never say that again in public!
Nick: Sorry.

(Joe walks back over to the table grinning)

Joe: Guess who has a hot date on friday with a model?
Kat: Hmmm...you!
Joe: Too right.
Nick: Way to go man! (high fives him)

(Charlotte and Kat glare at Nick)

Nick: I mean...congradulations.
Charlotte: I can't believe you actually like that air-head.
Joe: It's more of what the head looks like. And that head, looks hot!
Kat: Guys!

(they finish eating lunch and return to their last class. After this they walk home together.)
