This video was taped in LA in 2000 + I was a white person in the audience witnessing the courage + honesty of inquiry at its deepest. The original piece of work which lasts about an hour I think is still available as an audio CD + worth listening to. This is a wonderful tiny slice of a huge HUGE peace (sp intentional) of The Work done by Stearling on behalf of the world...the impact it has had in my life since then has been amazing. Watching it over I find myself in tears + laughter=gratitude.

Thanks for posting this! They both did incredible Work. I love that Katie didn't try to argue Sterling into a turnaround for her first issue. She didn't try to argue away the survival realities of racism, but told her to let the turnaround emerge naturally. Beautiful. This makes me trust The Work even more as it changes me.

Contrition happens in individuals, not mass movements. Hearts are changed in the day-to-day activities of life. The people involved know it's happening, and that's what matters.
