This is my final year project. Its a fire fighting robot that uses cheap security cameras with night vision mode to detect the fire. Also Infra red pass filters are used to obstruct the visible light and pass only IR light. Once the fire is detected, the vehicle is driven to the fire and extinguished with water mist. Cheap mobility scooters and pressure washers are used. Was really good fun. Enjoy!
