Green Day does a really good cover. and by the way boys and girls, Billie Joe was invited to join Rancid back in the day and he's friends with Tim Armstrong. you can't compare Green Day's version and this because they're totally different. the solo from Green Day's version is pretty fucking badass.

i like when these dumb arguments end with a smart person who gets thumbs up. green day and rancid are totally different bands. rancid is more ska/hardcore. green day covered it in a different style. it's a matter of taste.

Jesse actually performed a song with Rancid during this tour at a show in December. Don't remember which venue was lucky enough to see it though. So he's obviously not as bitter about it as Johnnyconsumer would like to believe.
