Airbus UK 1-4 FC United. 9 July 2011.

On a sometimes sunny day just over the border into Wales, FC began their pre-season campaign with a comprehensive victory with two goals in either half killing off the Welsh Premier team. Newcomer Scott Metcalfe and stalwart Nicky Platt put the reds two up before a terrific Ross Rule strike gave the Wingmen a way back into the game just before half-time. The second half saw a ten-man change for United but no change in the flow of the game as Ben Deegan with an easy tap-in and finally Matthew Wolfenden with a superb individual goal gave the travelling fans a deserved win.
