If you visit Los Angeles, you must see Olvera St.
It is really worth your time and the memories, pictures and movies you will have of this early part of L.A. will be amazing.
If you have never been to L.A. before, then you should take a bus tour that includes Olvera St.
You will learn more that way and won't get lost.
Thanks for sharing this with us.

@EkBalam707 Yes, Mexican-Americans should be proud of our heritage. Yes, we should teach our children spanish. Yes, we should preserve our traditions like quinceaneras, pinatas, and tres reyes. But we are above all Americans first! All these people who talk about "reconquista" should go and live in Mexico! We had nothing in Mexico! The cattle were better off than us! Mexico was mordelones, corrupt patrulleros, greedy landowners, and crooked courts! Be glad we are Mexican-Americans!

The hispanics I grew up with were like these people. There were no gangs and crime like today. We would go to olvera st at least once a month after visiting the La museum.
The metropolitan area of Greater Los Angeles is the economic epicenter of California -The Golden State- , and 7th most powerful economy of the world.
Los Angeles- The most Mexican city in the United States. History speaks by itself! Do NOt ban Mexican-American studies, like the corrupt hate monger people in Arizona are trying to do. Feel proud to be Californian, Mexican, or Mexican-American. Latino and Hispano. Feel proud to speak Spanish!

@TheFableLookingGlass The mexican Kids are having fun! I noticed it, they are just having fun and playing.
Throwing coins is an old game loved by children. El Volo, is a tradition used in Los bautizos.
Your comment is your own opinion and it only shows your ignorance, prejudice and sourness.
LOL
You are jealous and envious at Mexicans and Mexican history, culture, and identity in Los Angeles!
LOL

what seen as a swastika , is indeed a gammedon, from a sanskrit aryan symbol of wishing good luck. Origin has been postulated as four limbs as a congress in a sexual sense as seen from above. Takes a bit of a stretch of imagination tho.

It is a swastika, but what is seen evil for some people, it's not for other people. The Swastika was indeed an Aryan symbol for the Sun god. Iranian, Persian, or Hindu people never condemned the use of the symbol. And it's correct, the word derives from Sanskrit and it means "Good luck".
Just to take in consideration: In 1937, Nazi Germany was still in power.
You can see what ever yo want to see.
It's an historic video of L.A. ( La ciudad mas mexicana en los EE.UU.)
Saludos señor!
