  • when i pick up my rabbit, she bites my clothing and doesnt let get at all, once she waqs actually dangling from my hand aftr biting really bad... other times she scratches and has a massive fit. because im worried about her back, i put her down. HELP ME

  • @LittleFurryFriend Skyler has bitten me and drawn blood more than once. I suggest you sit on the floor with your rabbit, pick her up, hold her, then put her down before she starts struggling and give her a treat. Don't do this every time you're on the floor with her, but maybe once per day to start. Gradually increase the time you hold her. Rabbits struggle so hard when they're picked up because they are prey animals and their instinct tells them that being picked up equals being eaten.

  • I hope these techniques help you. Skyler is the worst of my rabbits about being handled. He looks so calm in these videos, but in reality he fights us tooth and nail. Using these techniques, he's gotten more calm about it. Keep practicing with them. Good luck. :)

  • Thank you got posting this video. I'm going to try this with my buns. Unfortunately mine don't like being picked up and don't like being touched. Hopefully this method will work with them! :)
