Why aren't the governor's of these states requesting aid for the citizens? It's okay to be proud, but it's borderline foolish when you don't ask for assistance. You have all of this footage of devastation you're showing, but not asking for help. What's wrong with you?

Give it a rest. I can't take anyone seriously who uses stereotypes to make their point. Obviously standing that close to a bridge that is collapsing is not the brightest thing in the world to do. But you make it sound like all people from the South would do this, or that all people from the South have no common sense, and that's not the case. Stereotypes make assumptions for an entire race, gender, region, etc....not exactly the best way for an educated person to make a point.

My buddy's husband is DPS up there and we just posted an awesome video of the road being demolished as those guys filmed it happening May 2...WOW....never be on a road submerged in water !
