Drawing Kiera Knightly

Decided to upload something new and unrelated to animation. (Don't worry, we are completing part 2 and will have it released soon)

Some of you that follow me on Deviantart would know that I draw traditionally too :p This portrait is one of my recent ones that I have been working on for a week or so when I have time to spare.

3B wooden pencil-for additional darkening

Blending Stump-accurate blending
Kneaded eraser-adjustable eraser for accurate/detailed erasing

@tomvanharmelen Are you implying that I cannot draw freehand? For your information, using the grid is absolutely not the same as tracing. The purpose of a grid is so the artist can focus on the lines and details of specific isolated areas in the image. The purpose of a grid is so that the artist does not trace. Furthermore, drawing with the guidance of a grid is not easy, coming from experience. For you to believe that drawing with a grid requires no skill whatsoever is quite ignorant.

That's just phenomenal. You're such a talented artist, and a young one at that. I like to draw myself and I thought I was pretty good for my age until I saw how old you were. Man, I'm not going to lie, I'm actually a tiny bit jealous. :P
