my Father and my Grandfather belonged to the Clydbank Pipe Band sometime in the 50's , My Father was also the PM of Renfrew Pipe Band took 2nd in the worlds Championships in Belfast Ireland in 1957 Ithink, He loved to say that Muirhead & sons beat them with a quarter of a point and Renfrew beat Shotts that year ! He was Pipe Major Tommy Shearer he was also in 1st Batt, Argyle & Sutherland Highlanders as PM for a few years (early fifties) at Edinburgh Castle thanks for videos
