Great video of a great trail, incidently i passed a woman on this trail last year on what can only be described as a shopping bike, i'm sure it was a Raleigh 20!! you do meet the strangest people on the marin trail.

@stumpy25lbs thanks, I will have to drive in the Netherlands and watch the videos cause driving over here is less a challenge compared to this.
In the man time I will test with camera as well, I love it.....Than I can relive my next ride in another country with my own video...

@PitcherPro Geez - we're nowhere near as fast as you guys though...

Are you riding Tubeless and if so, which wheel-set?

Yes. In this video I was on my 2008 Stumpjumper Pro Carbon FSR with stock wheels - DT Swiss 4.2 rims and hubs, with Nobby Nic UST tyres, and Stans inside to seal punctures when they occur. Works very well - reduced punctures from thorns from one per ride to never, and reduced rotating weight as well.

Love to see it. Did it 2 weeks ago and took me 15 minutes longer because I broke my chain.

@bonoort It wasn't you that we met on the trail on a fully rigid bike with rim brakes and paniers? (I can't remember whether said chap was Danish or Dutch - sorry). Anyway - kudos to this chap who was as quick as we were on his "purist" cycle :-)

@stumpy25lbs No it wasn't me I ride a Giant with full suspension. He must be very shaken up after a ride like that at that speed.......what camera did you use?

@bonoort I think the man was an ex Olympic athlete...
It's a Go Pro wide angle helmet hero. Not the HD. This time it was mounted on the chin guard of a full-face helmet. It's the first time - before I have tried the seatpost and the stem as well as the top of a helmet.
