@ftfisher4x4 thanks for the advice. The way how I am cautious is trying not to move it when he is in a ball as I am sure you know that it means they are in a possion of defense, But if my pythons is moving actively I am pretty sure thats a better time to take him out of his cage. But I guess what you say makes more sense. But im still kinda confuesd

A snake does not need to eat live food. As for dogs, yes, they were designed to kill and eat, as well as eat carrion. Even some snakes, such as cotton mouths feed on carrion.
I have 8 snakes, ranging from a 7 month old boa up to an 8 ft adult female boa and a yearling Burmese that is currently just over 8 feet. ALL of them eat F/T, even the Burm which had been fed live prior to me purchasing her. I have not seen a snake yet that I couldn't get to eat F/T.

Also, your Ball Python as an adult at 4-6 feet could present a problem if it is on feeding response when you try to move it back to its own cage. If you ever move up to boas, I can guarantee you that you won't want to move an adult boa that is still geared up from feeding. I'm trying to save you from a bite or a regurge. I alos work to dispel bad advice wherever I can.

Petco, Petsmart, it really doesn't matter what these guys tell you. Most of them couldn't find the business end of a snake much less tell you how to care for it. I'm speaking from experience and common sense. If you shouldn't handle your snake for 48-72 hours after feeding, why would you want to handle it to move it only minutes after feeding?

@ftfisher4x4 oh, ok, that is wierd that it is a myth. Considering the fact when I got my ball python at petco they told me to feed it in a different cage and such. But thanks anyway.
Feeding your python live food has not made it aggressive? Has your snake ever been injured by live prey? Pre-killed is much safer for the snake.
