I also had a few issues right at the beginning, but practise makes perfect I suppose as, in the end, i got the hang of it.I realised that, if I made sure the blade is placed, with the point touching the card, and starting from left gliding to my right(im right handed), it works fine as long as I do not apply too much pressure. I tried with different weight card as well to practise.Don't give up:)
