This is a homemade CB tranceiver based on transistors. It contains a superhet receiver with 455Khz IF stage and 4 stage transmitter. For audio amplification a transistor based amplifier is used. A 1m long telescopic antenna and a 2m long ground wire are used for transmission. The tranceiver transmitts / receives AM Signals on channel 5 of the CB radio band. The tranceiver has one channel, if another channel is required, both crystalls must be changed to the new frequency, and the antenna has to be re matched to the tranceiver.

Absolutely brilliant build! I had been looking for videos or information of someone building their own CB transmitter but it seems very rare. Only lots of ham radio builds. Oh and thank you very much for sharing the schematic diagram!
