I remember staying up late one night in the early 90's and watched this film. Since that night onwards it has always been one of my all time favourite films.

@Gmackematix There had been other school shootings before Columbine such as the Texas tower shootings by Charles Whitman. Also unlike Columbine the victims didn't get a chance to shoot back as they did in this movie. But you are right they weren't original just psychotic.

@Carthsting: I like to call this "If", If it had a plot, if it had some meaning. It doesn't, I am now 40, I was 20 when I first saw it. It really doesn't make sence.

Sorry but I go to an English all boys boarding school and I can assure you its not the greatest education system the world has ever seen, far from it. Also If.... was made in Britain not America.
