Using a shop vac and a kitchen oven, we vacuum formed a plastic visor for a helmet.

  • @HyperSniperCo many plastics are heat formable. you can put the plexiglass in an oven and heat it up untill it gets like paper.

  • now that looks cool as hell, how thick is the plastic you are forming there? cause though it is sweet shaped, for my project I would require definite durability not just show. could you also use this type of material for rc cars body? that stuff can be quite thin. also have you tried 1/8" plexi? I have a few sheets it just laying around so that would be nice for me if it worked. thanks, get back to me if you can.

  • how many time did you put it ? and at what heat ?
