AWARD WINNING SHORT FILMS ON YOUTUBE. The Lord Is My Shotgun is an awesome, morally bankrupt action film about a hard-bitten detective at the end of his chain. Opening just after a robbery gone wrong four goons stand between this violent, vigilante, vengeful cop and the carpark exit - his imaginary salvation - but real damnation.

Directed by Gabriel Dowrick.
Photographed by Marc Windon.

  • When people see a well executed short film. They ask "What was this shot with" It's not the camera or visual effects that make the film great but simply the visionary person behind it.

  • to be honest, it looks like a scene from an 80s film

  • Good job on this one. I like some of the interesting shots.

  • Nothing like a little violence every now and then :D Great job!

  • That blood spatter on 0:32 would be more that of a pistol. A shotgun would of blown his head apart and the shells pellets would of impacted the wall slightly and possibly even surrounding objects. These small details count.

  • Brilliant.

  • great squibs
