@JRRShop i'm with you there! but everyones so afraid to go into the red on their daws - if you rushinto the red (ie over 0db) and come down on the master, you get much better sound. i never used to do this coz i thought that somthing was being lost and the audio was really disorted, but if you drive say logic 6db over on every channel after you are done mixing. compare it to your mix, its way better coz it using the top end of the audio engine - and as we know - we are only interested in top 6!

I got a question. Obviously you are sponsored and/or work for oxford in any way, And nothing wrong about that at all. I'm highly considering to get a lot of the various Oxford VSTI's, but I'd like to try out a mastering demo to train and see if this is for me (before i buy anything). Now, A friend told me about a good mastering demo called Izotope Ozone... would you say that it's a good "try mastering out" before i buy anything? If you've heard of it ofcourse

there is plenty above zero if your daw has 32bit float.
