Is there a reason for class 20's always being coupled to each other and shunting at the nose?
-
that layout is awsome. we should all aspire to attain those standards

I have always liked this video - i recently got a youtube account so i can now comment on it - i will probably have a hornby video up (as i only have Airfix at the moment) soon once i have built my new layout as my old one was getting old! - i have watched all your videos.

@bbgunsrule324 The layout was 16x8 ft, I had over 70 engines at the time

Class 20's only have one cab, usually a loco has one at each end, also they were quite weak in terms of horsepower with only 1000HP, they therefore coupled them nose to nose to in effect create one loco with a cab at each end with 2000HP, this was ample for them to perform stellar service on MGR trains for years!

Where you get the Regional Railways second class coach?? I didn't see it before, in any shop and websites..

@hkbfkmb the regional railways second class coaches were available at the time, they sold out very, very quickly and Bachmann don't seem to have re-released them for some reason!
