@UnDead483 I completely agree. Only Oscar Peterson could play Hymn to Freedom like that. I have played that piece but it don't come close to Oscar. Makes a person go "ohhh yeahhhhhh". :)

You know, I've heard this piece played many times by many people... But no one can play it quite like Oscar did. Somehow the nuance and soul he put into every note just can't be duplicated. Sort of like how no one can play Rachmaninov quite like he did himself. And I think that Oscar should stand with guys like Rachmaninov and Liszt as one of the greatest pianists who has ever lived.
