Chicago Public School Waters Elementary serves nearly 600 students from many different ethnicities, cultures and economic levels (the majority of which are minority and low-income). For over 15 years Waters has been dedicated to teaching environmental responsibility and stewardship, as we believe that it is as necessary as reading and math. CPS does not fund this program and though we are frequently hindered by financial realities, through sheer determination we are able to keep this great program growing. Please join us!
There should be more of this in Chicago Public Schools!
