REMEMBER TO SUBSCRIBE! I HAVE PLENTY OF OTHER AGE OF EMPIRES 2 VIDEOS!
Don't understand how to play online:

Essentially this match covers a great deal in an effective economic opening strategy. I demonstrate how to fast castle (hit the Castle Age very fast with a good economy) and how to defend against a crush. I also counter back with an ever stronger and more effective crush than my AI opponent. Looking back on this match I could have reached the castle age much faster if I didnt wait for that last villager to keep making, my population was a bit higher than it needed to be. Also the AI for the first time in a long time, actually caught me off guard. I honestly didn't expect an attack from Mangudai at 15:00 minutes in. So that changed the course of the game a lot, but in the end, I conquered him.
I was playing as the Celts to demonstrate how to play a civ with no significant economic bonuses that would change the fast castle strategy. Besides of course the wood bonus.
Thanks for watching, please remember to rate/comment/subscribe to motivate me to keep making more videos. For all of you that subscribed last video helped me get this video out much earlier that I was planning on doing it.
In order to fast castle effectively:
I recommend you watch the video in the beginning a few more times till you can sort of mimic what happens. Essentially always start by building as many villagers as you can at your town center and immediately take your starting villagers and build 2 houses. Have your scout pick up some sheep. Once the first house is built, take the 2 villagers off of it and have them tend to the sheep while your newly spawned villagers tend to the sheep as well. Once the 2nd house is built send him to either tend to sheep or build a lumbercamp. Once you have 6 villagers on the sheep, the rest go to wood or other resources. Remember to periodically have your villagers drop off food at the town center instead of waiting, it saves a lot of time actually. Around 5 minutes in build a house then send a villager after the first boar and have him shoot the boar 2 times and run behind your town center. Have your sheep gatherers drop off the food then shoot the boar. Build a mill if you have the resources now. Once the boar hits 100 food then bring the other boar on in there with a fresh villager. Once that boar is finished send the spare villagers to wood or forage bushes or gold/stone. I personally like to get one guy on stone in the dark age instead of gold and just sell the stone. Also build another house. By this time you should be able to start dishing out farms with newly spawned villagers and take off some foragers and lumberjacks for food. You should have about 5 farms, and once you get 24-28 pop (depending on what you plan on doing, flushing or not) then advance to the feudal age. If you did it right, and it takes some experimenting you'll be able to hit the castle age shortly after finishing advancing. Once you hit the feudal age, immediately take off all your lumberjacks and put them on building a blacksmith and a market. If you play like me, sell your stone and you're good to go. Advance with 29-31 pop probably. It takes some testing and tweaking, but that's the basics.
Over the holidays I'll be able to take open challenges. At the moment I'm rather busy.
imagine this game with the multiplayer mode of starcraft 2.... i mean the ladders and the match making system... i think it would be so great! ok i could use LAN and stuff like that but just imagine how this game would look with a modern online gaming service ... oh man...
