  • Actually, Klingons DO take prisoners. Its the Romulans who didn't. Disregard anything you may have heard in The Wrath of Khan.

  • I really enjoy watching quality fan films like this. The acting is great. My only suggestion would be to go back and re-edit the film so that it moves a bit faster, in the same manner that TOS did. For example, the opening scene drags a bit when the Captain enters his quarters. A few establishing shots linger a bit to long, and could easily be cut in length without effecting the story.

  • only 4751 views? Kiddin'? This fan film is great!

  • the ship survived so they just repaired and restaffed it.

  • Oh come on! It's all about having fun. Star Trek belongs to all of us. Trekkies, just enjoy this for what it is and stop being so persnickity. Cripes!

  • Well you must keep in mind that this is an amateur production. And with all amateur efforts it has 2 basic challenges: Funding and Available Talent. Of course, funding dictates what talent is available. But as you said, a terrific effort.

  • seem to rember this plot sounds like when bush order attack on iraq for having wmds

  • yes, it was also guess all the communitcation offices like uraha was black back then

  • Wasn't the Farragut the ship the James T. Kirk served aboard when he was a Leutinant and was one of the few survivors who was attacked by the cloud creature that was later presented in the "Obsession" episode?

  • Wonderful sets, amazing effects. Good script ideas, but needs tightening up. The weak link, as in New Voyages, is the acting. For havng invested this much money, I'd rather see a really good finished product than see myself on-screen. But, it's their money. All in all a terrific effort.
