  • Yeah, you got a cam phaser going bad. And since you say it's only coming from the passenger side, then that's the one that needs to be replaced. Might as well get both replaced, though. Otherwise the driver-side phaser will be right behind it.

  • It doesn't go away.........and it's only on the passenger side.

  • @sargeek1975 Consider yourself lucky, haha. Those phasers cost a pretty penny.

  • This is a cam phaser tick, if it goes away past 1200 RPM's. When it was first running it sounded like a VCT tick but now that is warm it def sounds like a cam phaser.
