  • Just started 65 mounds. I'm hoping to have 215 more by the weekend. I growing, Royal Goldens, Desert Kings, Orangeglo, Crimson Sweet, Yellow Shipper and Haikaido. I'm using Bat Gauno, Mexican and Seabird Gauno. Do you think I'll have success. I sold everything to get 8 acres of land. Now I'm broke lol but I'm determined to succeed. I'm going to shoot a vid in the morning. I have to hook up a water pump to a well. thanks

  • @MaJahBlak Good on you my friend. You have a very positive attitude, determined to succeed. Thats the most important part of your Watermelon venture. Looking forward to the video :-))

    Thank you

  • @guidalco Just Google How to grow square watermelons. I have not attempted this procedure but must give it a go next growing season. It is winter time now in New Zealand. Thank you for your interest. Wishing you every success with your new venture. :-))

  • before i ask anything can i grow the rock melons you were talking about in ny? i would build a greenhouse if i had to

  • @zombification123 I lived in an area in New Zealand that had a short growing season and used cloches. Hoops over individual rows with clips to hold vented plastic cover on. This worked very well. Formed a micro climate that rockmelons thrive in. You need to put up wind net also if you get windy weather or your block has no shelter belts. Are you on Skype?
