ever thought of the ideal line in dry conditions is totally different to the racing line in wet. When rubber gets wet, it gets slippery. He is driving more to the outside to get better traction out of the corners. When steering to the apex, you slide to the outside when you exit the corner resulting in a slow acceleration and a lower top speed on the next straight..

He does not seem to have a feel for driving in wet conditions. Having watched his aggressive driving style in other videos he seems a little too harsh with the controls to extract the best from the car in the wet.

I totally agree he pushed what he can and for that he deserves a lot cause the race conditions was very very bad and he didn't know the track what complicates a lot the task.
