  • I didn't see how the cable was routed through the masonry wall, or another source. I've got cinder block walls on my house. Thinking of tossing it up to the roof, over to the backside of the house and down to a power source. Ideas?

  • @cdngo In the video, the cable was routed through holes drilled in the masonry. That would be the best way to route the cable. If you run it over the house, you would need some PVC pipe or metal conduit of somekind that will protect the cable from the elements. The cables are not rated for this method of installation, so we strongly recommend drilling through the cinder block and running the cables through the interior of your house. Thanks for your question!

  • i have two of the l23wd800...do you have video on how to set up an audio motion senser...example ... my old speco system would pick up a person on the camera....then it would give them a message that they were in a restricted area...can my system do that?

  • @bartp27772 Thanks for your feedback. The Speco system was playing an audio file when motion was detected. The L23WD will play an alarm/buzzer when motion is detected by the camera(s). The buzzer sound cannot be changed; it can only be turned on or off.

  • @itsdonny Problem is trying to get the BNC connectors to fit in the conduit...unless the conduit is over-sized.

  • cable should be run through conduit to avoid easy clipping of the cable.
