@techguy348 I'm a huge fan of SMG1,but I haven't played SMG2,so I can't say which is best,but I remember that melody at 0:21 from the first one and loved it,so I don't mind. :3

ok ppl i know the star festival comes once every 100 years and your thinking how its possible that everyones still alive but i think that since bowser destroyed the first star festival, the one in super mario galaxy 2 comes right after the first one and bowser came up ith his next plan quickly.

maybe the reason mario doesn't age between the 2 games is because:

1.the theory of relativity

2.they went through a time portal at the end of smg

3.mario is immortal

The Super Mario Galaxy games are much like the Legend Of Zelda Majoras Mask and Wind Waker, their two different timelines, but they somehow join up by time of Super Mario 3D Land. I think... Thanks Nintendo, you make the two most mind-hurting game series ever... Oww... My brain

@magmablock You didn't know? Super Mario Galaxy 2 takes period literally only about an hour or two after what happened in Super Mario Galaxy 1. They take place on the SAME NIGHT, not a hundred years apart.
