its not in the 70s u spac its in the 90s they even talk about wen they heard the songs that play wen they were kids

no, it uses music tracks from the 70s. The characters talk about how they haven't heard those songs since they were in school, meaning it couldn't be set in the 70s. It just has a very nostalgic 1970's style.
