My brother once said the horn was the ugliest instrument, but if he heard this I think he would change his mind. It's one of the most beautiful and majestic of them all.

@Absolutegreek89 I played the French horn for years. It is the most difficult instrument. It plays you, not you it.

God, I wish Brahms wrote more than 4 symphonies. Could you imagine?

My favorite movement of this symphony.

Played the French Horn at 14 yrs old. My music tutor said "This is one instrument you can never master...it defines you."

I am Sorry! But how dare your brother say that! The horn is one of the world hardest instrument and also to me one of the prettiest and elegant instrument!

@yingclarinet You are right, it is Christopher Corbett, principal clarinet of the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks (Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra).
