Awesome review. I totally agree. While neither X3 nor Wolverine were exactly "terrible", they were extremely disappointing to me. The first thing I said when I came out of the theater upon watching this film was "finally, another great sequel". Like you, I had my doubts upon hearing the first news of it, but I was blown away. Now I think it may be my absolute favorite movie in the series.

had one more continuity issue if you count x3 and wolverine as part of the story. Charles walks in x3 when he recruits Gean grey. He also walks in Wolverine when he recruits Scott and mutants.

I LOVED it! I am still debating which is better, this or X2. Magneto's costume at the end sent me over the f'king edge man! WHY CAN'T VAUGH MAKE AN ACTUALLY X-MEN MOVIE THAT LOOKS LIKE THIS!!!

One thing I liked about this movie is how it fitted really well into the continuity of X-Men 1 and 2 and didn't acknowledge X-Men 3 or Wolverine. That being said, I believe in either X-Men 1 or 2 Magneto says that he helped build Cerebro along with Professor X but *spoilers* in this film it is shown that Beast contructed Cerebro, or at least the original version, but there is no way that Magneto did help Charles as Eric becomes evil at the end. Amazing movie though, definately my favourite X-Men

@MovieMentality Thanks for your comment! Yeah, I had the same issue with Cerebro but hey, it could still happen. After all, X3 shows Charles and Eric working together to recruit Jean (but each to their own cause). And yes, it was an amazing movie and I think it's my new favourite of the series! =)
