Heh interesting... I would have just said that's a silly question - this process called Focusing works, and here's how you do it. The whys and wherefores and "what bit is this", is best answered by neuroscience. Def agree with "you need that", and ordinary language isnt adequate!

who looks back ? Not really answered, but is there an asnwer ? For me certain words resonate. Something like embodied conciousness. One person I have taught focusing to, for the first time, said 'like I am contacting my spirit'. Somehow there is an I that is in the centre. I hope this I conciousness survives death of my body. But no guarantees ! JOhn
