Years ago I wrote to him it was a while before I got a response I prayed to hear soon. The room filled up with the smell of roses. The next day I received the reply from him. Also when my first child was born and we brought her home from the hospital my husband and I were admiring her and the room filled with the smell of roses. He was reminding me of the reason for my letter. I pray always for those who do not yet have the gift of faith.

I stopped being a catholic years ago because it is clear that many catholic beliefs are either Babylonian in origin or the result of popes who were either corrupt or obviously insane or incompetent e.g. Pius ix. Although an agnostic now...... if I ever returned to "the faith" I'd take a mainstream protestant denomination over roman catholicism any day. "One lord, one faith, one baptism" .... what a bunch of clowns
