Black/Silver exterior, Silver leather interior, glass t-tops. Numbers matching 185hp 350ci engine, automatic transmission, posi rear-end. Brace yourselves, this might be the nicest original 1978 Corvette Pace Car we've had yet! Assembled on April 21, 1978, this beauty comes to us with just 3,949 original miles, and is ready to show! Paint on this car looks to be original, and shows a few signs of age, although it is still in overall very good condition with a brilliant shine. Rear spoiler shows some typical light waves, but is very straight overall. The original Pace Car decals have never been installed, and will come in a box with the car. Taillights on this car are in excellent condition, showing NONE of the fading that is usually typical of this style taillight. Glass t-tops show correct date codes, and are in excellent condition; exterior chrome door handles are also excellent with strong return springs. Weatherstripping on this car is in excellent condition as well. Factory Pace Car-specific slotted aluminum wheels are excellent with no curb rash, and wear their ORIGINAL Goodyear GT Radial outlined white letter tires with 8/32nds tread remaining. The interior of this 1978 Corvette Pace Car shows excellent condition factory leather seat covers, steering wheel, center console, dash pad, carpet, gauges, and door panels. The rare factory CB radio is still in place as well. Engine compartment has been nicely detailed, and the engine shows what looks to be an April 1978 casting date. A new Delco a/c compressor has been installed, and the system has been retrofitted to R134a. Ignition shielding is in place, and the frame is clean and rust-free. Alternator, carburetor, and intake manifold all show correct casting numbers. Simply put, this is a top-quality car! Call us before it ends up in someone else's collection! @RayGettings Check our website, we've got an L82 Pace that just came in with 16,000 miles (undocumented) in that same price range. Really nice car BTW, we have a full set of photos on there as well. Also just got in a 78 Silver Anniversary with 92 actual miles that should be on the website later today or tomorrow.

@silentpounce When was the car appraised and by whom? We just sold the nicest 78 Pace I had ever seen (NEVER EVER driven EVER, 5 original miles, stickers still in it) for mid-$30s.
