How can you say this book is a comedy?? And how can you hate it, it is a fantastic piece of literature and a really moving story. What is wrong with you? your such weirdos!! and they didn't just 'make out' tess was raped.

i was ready to completely disregard this video, but then i heard samuel barber's adagio for strings and i had to keep watching. i think it's a pity that you hated the book though, because it is really quite an amazing story.

This is 'naff'. Not because you dislike the book, there's no accounting for taste, but because you ridicule it while clearly being too dense to understand it. Please, please stop your literature courses now, and save me looking through your piles of superfluous pages in book stores to come. I mean your being published in no complimentary way, it would be a Mills & Boon, I imagine.
