Okk Soo I'm american and I must say I love your accent it is beautiful!! It is sooo much better than my boring accent :/ I have to play an Irish role for a musical that I'm in at my school. So basically I'm trying to say that not all people who try to do your accent is making fun of it. Some have to do it for an acting role, or they do it b/c they admire it and they wish they had your accent. The Americans who do it to make fun of you are just jerks and I'll help you hunt them down :) p.s. n

We don't all have a southern draw lol :P For example I'm from California and therefore have a rather dull and boring accent :D Someone else from East Coast have different accents depending where they're from. And the Midwest have their own accent as well.

Agreed. Abso-fuckin-lutely agreed. Ireland has so many different accents for such a small country. There is no real "irish accent". I'm sick of hearing the same watered down pretend shite on american TV. It's a diverse accent but no one sounds like that ffs!
