I've heard that this place is really dump. They supposedly have one good apartment that they show to people who want to live there, but the actual apartments are crappy. Can anyone either confirm or deny this?

Missed the old days. I lived there from 93 to 2003. Went to Delta College and Heald College. Even though, I now lived in LA LA land, I still think of Stockton. Used to play and workout at In-Shape in Bianci rd and the one in Swain.

..so it is quite possible to get locked out if u forget ur gate key.
other than that, i can't really say anything else bad about them. pretty small issues overall.
as far as good points go, the grounds are pretty well kept. it's clean and relatively safe. they have several pools, tennis courts, a hot tub.
the complex has a pretty convenient location. close to I-5 (i said u can hear the traffic at night, but its really not that bad), and there r some essential stores on the next block.

ok, well, maybe they didn't do it intentionally (im rly not sure), and in the end, it's actually more my fault than theirs. so lesson learned. all im trying to say is be sure to take the initiative, with them or anyone, cuz they probably won't.
*parking was pretty tight there, and they were always doing work on the lots, which made it worse.
* there's no outgoing mail in the complex! (wtf!?)
u have to go out of the front gate to the public US postal box on the sidewalk

1st off, the complex has been around since the '80s, and at one point apparently used to be pretty ghetto. they've since come under new management (i think) and been fixed up. the apartments aren't brand new, but they are decent enough. they're gated, and pretty quiet with lots of trees, although at night u can hear the traffic on I-5. be sure to find out what units are open when moving in, and look at all of them. otherwise they will choose the shittiest 1 for u, like they did to me -.- [more]

i lived there for a year, back in '07 i think. they're not that bad, tbh. i mean, they're not tops, for sure, but there's definitely worse... especially in Stockton. anyone who's spent time in Stockton will know how dodgy certain areas can be, and MVW is actually in a nice area (west of I-5). now, ill go into more detail, but im gonna start a new post so i dont run outta room here....

What they left out is Stockton's amazingly high crime rate for a town its size. Gangs of every ethnicity for your to encounter. And your car will get stolen, just give it time.

Ok, I've driven through Stockton and it's highly industrialized. Where is this area? I've never seen it? It looks great, but what is the address?
