im dont have any intel cpu's just only amd cpu's,we all know the k7 beated the crap out of any p3/p4 back in those days.
After intel conroe and i7 things changed guys, my next cpu will still be a amd cpu but amd isnt the fastest one but they are the best in bang for bucks price performance ratio.
Now maybe a few sites would lie but if you check tomshardware,anandtech,guru3d, hardocp, xbitlabs they all show i7 fastest in Games.

but who in their right mind would buy a cpu for the price of 5 refurbished computers? honestly Intel's prices are stupid and anti small business. I could build an entire high end workstation computer with the best retail cpu from AMD with a 26" Asus monitor with the same amount of money intel fan boys spend on their newest cpu and motherboard.

My sentiments exactly. I built my first PC using AMD back in 2000. I did buy Core 2 Quad from the blue team but now I'm back with Phenom II.

3dkiller come down. the worlds fastest OCed cpu till this day is still the AMD. Both intel & AMD are great but they are not going to perform the same for all applications. There are applications where intel looses 10% of performance & not AMD. I have a 9850 OCed to 3.0 & one nasty NVidia GTX285 FTW 2GB & you wouldnt believe the scores I get. All I can say is that I laugh at those who think intel is better. Its just different, thats all.

Sorry, they all lie. I test games and hardware for a living, I get paid, to play games. I'm not some little kid online talking trash, I really am in the market for computers.

We have 2 "top end" builds we use for testing. Core i7 extreme with Nvidia GTX280 in SLI and a AMD 965 with 2 4890 1Gb in CF. Our AMD/ATI based system scores more frames in EVERY game we have tested yet the Intel/Nvidia showed better results at encoding video and running benchmarks.

RAW gaming = ATI/AMD

ATI is doing great in Vidcard market but AMD is doing far from good Cpu bussines.
