my father had laryngeal cancer this past summer, and has never smoked a day in his life. unfortunatley we caught in the late stages because my dad refused to go to the doctor. but he survived and is doing great.

@supermariolego878 actually i quit smoking a while ago.... and it wasn't because of stuff like this.

Thank you for your willingness to share! My brother is still in the hospital, after his surgery. He and I were heavy smokers for many years. Boith of us have not smoked in 20 plus years. Once he was diagnosed it scared the helll out of me.

i guess this doctor needs to read about Steve Wiemeyer ... never smoked, exercised, healthy diet... got larynx cancer.
