  • Well, by definition sitcoms are fiction. But it is based on real life to an extent. Bill Cosby and his wife are both educated, and although I don't have statistics or anything, I have known African American families with 2 professional parents. And I've known plenty of black doctors. And I've known lots of poor, uneducated, unemployed white people.
