Dec. 1987/ Jan. 1988 - Chaweng Beach, Koh Samui, Thailand (Part 1)

For those who are interested in to see how Chaweng Beach looked like back in 1987/ 1988. There is also Part II uploaded. We had to take a Bus from Bangkok to Surat Thani (the whole night) and later a boat to the Island. Bungalows right at the Beach but no electricity (power only at night!). Backpackers, dirty roads, limited nightlife = no Bars and Discos. Enjoyed a good smoke though on the beach...
I haven't been back since then but from viewing later videos - it ain't the same anymore (well I'm not surprised....).

I miss the place back then! It was heaven on earth! not so any more... wish i could travel back in time!
