Episode 5:
-Mitchie's POV-
Tonight, I was really excited! It was Denise and Paul's wedding anniversary. Me, Carter, Ashley, Jason, Nate and Shane were planning a surprise party. Even though me and Shane still never talked, I was planning that I would talk to him today, while we are dancing during the surprise party. I also rubbed off to buy a black dress. It looked amazing for this event! Mom asked me if I knew what day it was today and I said Monday, though I knew that she thought nobody "remembered", but she doesn't know that we planned something extremely awesome for her anniversary with Dad. I can't wait to see her face when we yell out "Surprise!". I can't wait to see her smile of happiness.
Carter: (Runs intro Mitchie's room) "Mitchie! Look what Shane sent me on my cellphone!"
Mitchie: (Takes it from her) "You know, if you stop shaking then maybe I would be able to read."
Carter: (Stops shaking) "Ugh, fine." (Crosses her arms in excitement)
Mitchie: (Looks at the text and read's it out loud) "I can't wait till were gonna be dancing outside. Wear something hot so I can't my eyes off you. Love you, Shane." (She gave the phone back to Carter and turned around so her tear's couldn't be shown) "That's...cool, Carter. You should leave now, you have to find your dress anyways."
Carter: (Smiles and nods. She ran outside almost screaming)
Mitchie: (Sighs and closed her door. She turned around and slid down) "My life sucks."
-That Night-
-Mitchie's POV-
I saw if Mom and Dad were in their room and heard them talking. "They forgot." Mom replied to Dad. Dad hugged her. I sighed. I knew we shouldn't have said that it's Monday. Ugh. I started to growl and walk to where we set up the party. It was Nate's job to bring Mom and Dad to where its taking place. I wanted to do it, but no. Mitchie, your doing every single thing! Let me do something! That's what he had said. Ugh, I know I love him (as a brother) but he can be pretty stubborn sometimes. Shane and Carter walked downstairs holding hands and smiling at each other and I just sighed at my faith. I walked to them and they nodded. We had to keep quiet, because if Mom and Dad heard, no surprise anymore. We ran to the nearest bush as we heard Nate knock on the door. That was the signal that we was coming. Stupid, iddiot, never even gave us time to hide. Mom and Dad had blind folds covering their eyes. I heard Nate say "No peaking" and I was like "Aww, he's soo sweet". I peaked through the bush as he put his thumb up and I nodded. "Go!" I hissed at him. He ran to me and glared. "No need to be mean, Ms.Torres! Mean lady!" He hissed back. "Dude! Their right over there! Can you atleast remove their blind folds?!" I hissed back at him, almost talking. He glared and walked back. "Now. Remove your blind folds." Mom and Dad put both their hands on the back of their head and quickly untied their blind folds. I screamed. "SURPRISE!" Ofcourse, I was the loudest. Shane, Ashley and Carter were too busy in their personal lives and Nate was glaring at me the whole time. "We never forgot." I smirked then hugged Mom. She just simply laughed. "Ofcouse you didn't, your the most responsible one I know." I heard Shane, Nate, Ashley and Carter growl and I laughed. "Yep, I know I am." Dad chuckled and soon we were all dancing. As the music changed, we had to change partner's clockwise. I didn't know who to dance with so Nate walked up to me. "I guess Mean Lady's my partner." He smirked. "I guess Ugly Devil is my partner." I chuckled because he looked pissed off. "C'mon." I grabbed his hand and put my arms around his neck and we started to dance. A few minutes later the song changed and I twirled and landed in his arms. I wrapped my arms around his neck just like the previous dance and he looked toward Carter. I looked down and sighed. "Look Shane. I'm sorry. Do you want to be friend's again?" He replied back. "I thought we were already friends." I sighed and looked down. "No, I mean. Your not talking to me, so I know something is definitely wrong." He looked at me with a confused face. "There's nothing wrong." The song changed and I knew those were the smallest 3 minutes of my life.
