This would be me, hamming it up with Andrew Wyeth's "Christina's World" at the MOMA in NYC. "Why is he insulting this fabulous painting," you might ask? Well, I'm not. I love the painting so much I wish I could crawl inside of it and live there forever. However, so far I've only gone so far as to fully enjoy and immerse myself in Terry Gilliam's film adaptation of the Mitch Cullin novel, "Tideland," immersed to point of watching it some 50 times on my laptop in the past six months. If you haven't seen the film, you won't get it. If you have, you'll recognize (hopefully) that I am playing the mentally-challenged Dickens, who encourages his friend Jeliza-Rose to "swim" through the prairie grass. When she informs him that she is "drowning," he offers up the aide of his "submarine."
Wyeths Staple...Classic...you were really gettin close...dont know why ppl do that...Im guessing ppl just dont know how to react when they know something cost millions..

Ha ha! I can not help but watch the film over and over..It's eye-candy and deeply sad and joyously insane.

Lee Konitz's tune Rebecca, on his Sub-Conscious-Lee CD, always reminds me of Christina's World...with some 50's new york city mixed in...a wonderful CD, by the way...
