The Inner Smile - One of the greatest gifts we have, something that cannot be taken away from us...without our permission.

Things often go wrong, bad things happen, people, experiences, events come along and challenge us, but none of these things can take away our inner smile. We have only to decide to keep it. At first to most people it will seem near impossible to do this, but so did walking and talking once upon a time. Practice it.

I believe and put into practice myself that when things go wrong, things that i cannot control, such as other peoples actions, i tell myself... "What is, is!" In other words, I accept the situation, acknowledge that if I change my emotion to something negative nothing will change the situation, and therefore then stop, breathe, and let my inner smile stay strong. Sometimes its harder than other times to do it, lots of things can cause this, lack of sleep, illness, etc etc, but done often, it starts to become a habit, and once embedded into your subconcious, WOW, the change it makes to you.

Bad things still happen, how can anyone control events and people, but your inner smile remains intact.
