  • @smetlogik This venom is for research purposes. Copperhead venom is not used to make antivenin.

  • Like those broad banded coppers. Do you extract venom mainly for anti-venom?

  • @Boasandpythons It is true that many copperhead bites do not necessarily require anti-venom, as the risks of allergic reaction to the anti-venom usually outweigh the negative effects of the bite. However, they can still be quite painful and should of course be avoided.

  • Oh wow, I love copperheads. Trans Pecos are my favorite type! Now I've heard that a lot of people who receive copperhead bites, don't require anti-venom therapy. Is this true? Love the work you all do! Take care!
