Sacked Pacific Brands workers, unionists and supporters rallied outside the Myer store in the Bourke Street Mall in Melbourne on March 5 to demand the company reverse its decision to transfer operations to China. As part of the protest, four firefighters, whose clothing has been been made by the company, stripped to their Bonds underwear - a brand made by Pacific Brands - holding signs reading "don't strip us to our undies".

The union has set up a website for the campaign:

The rally was attended by members of several unions as well as workers from the company's factories, and Peter Conway, Secretary of the NZ council of Trade Unions, was also present - the company is also cutting 100 jobs in NZ/Aotearoa.
