bolt action rifles + women = WIN !

It looks like she isn't shouldering it right. she puts it too low, and then brings her whole shoulder up like shes holding a phone with her shoulder. Probably uncomfortable to shoot that way.
oh well. gave me a reason to pull out my bolty and experiment.

The bullet is foolish; the bayonet wise.

Sticky bolts are common with mosin's, and given the environment they were built to handle it is a rough and tough weapon. The bolt is meant to be operated pretty much with the whole arm, hence the design of it and due to the type of cartridge it uses.
But that bolt is way too damn sticky, so I'm gonna give the same advice I'm sure others have and that's to take the bolt apart, soak it in gun cleaner and give it a good scrubbing and it should work a lot more smoothly.

mosin nagants usually have a hard to slide bolt. They need to be man handled, not treated like a smooth rem 700 or something.

I know how it is.

Sorry if I'm over-reacting. Just having a bad day. And wasn't in the mood for someone to talk down to me on a subject I have passion for, and participate in daily.

What kinda opinion is that. If the parts are miss matched thats understandable. But war rifles are smooth, maybe not as smooth as jeweled sport bolts. but how else would a brain dead moron from the urals operate a bolt mid combat. How do you know the bolt is fine, are the chick in the video.
And what do you mean "You just need to know that this isn't a sport gun, its an old war gun."
My mauser is a rare 1935. I don't "NEED" to know shit. I do my own damn gunsmithing.

If the bayonet is extended while shooting, you will get better accuracy.

And at 1:10 even more
To the airsofter and chairsofter, yes the bolt is comparably "heavy" to most modern bolt actions. A combination of a short (and awkward) bolt handle and strong firing pin spring make it so. The trick is strong deliberate movements.
So, Russel, how many times have you cut up your hand on the receiver by cycling too fast?

Enough. But not near as many as I have fast cycling my Enfield .303B. That gun lives for my blood.
